Join us to make change

Memunatu's International Day of the Girl is an annual forum that brings together innovators across industries to empower teenage girls worldwide. An initiative from Memunatu Magazine—a social enterprise that empowers teen girls in West Africa through media—this Day of the Girl event creates a platform to amplify female voices. This year's theme is Game Changers and the event will be held in Washington D.C.

We will showcase women and girls making big strides in technology, humanities, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Proceeds from the event will go towards Memunatu pilots in these areas across the region and world.

About Memunatu

We are a non-profit social enterprise driven by empowering girls: Memunatu promotes literacy, leadership, and empowerment for teenage girls (10-17 yrs old) in West Africa. We create a unique, community-driven magazine that focuses on content that increases girls' potential and life skills. Distributed through secondary schools with a teacher’s guide, Memunatu bridges the gap between educational and extracurricular life. For more information, visit: http://memunatumagazine.com
